Remember that INTRON® A is the one and only FDA-approved treatment for high-risk malignant melanoma. Research has shown that a full course of treatment with INTRON® A can help some patients with melanoma live longer. It can also extend the time you have without melanoma coming back.

Malignant
Cancerous; cells that can invade and destroy nearby tissue and spread to other parts of the body.
Melanoma
A highly malignant type of skin cancer that arises in melanocytes, the cells that produce pigment. Melanoma usually begins in a mole.
